As was a daily routine for Kyana, she woke up early from yet another strange dream. This time it was about a baby penguin firebending at random ice sculptures. Today would most likely be like the others. She would throw on her thicker clothes, get out of bed to feel the wonderfully sharp cold weather of her home, and do her usual volunteering around the tribe. Sometimes she wished more adventure would come to her home, yet everyday was so peaceful and calm. Volunteering around always made things interesting.
"I wonder what's out there for me to do today.." She thinks to herself deeply. As she exited her small home, she passed by the usual members who greeted her everyday, Tahen, a very old and humurous man, Naneen the most gentle and caring woman she'd ever known, and Sukken the little boy who she'd known had taken a liking to her. With a quick wave of goodbye she set out further into the tribe looking for work to do. Strangely not much was happening today.
Bringing to a halt at one of the local marketplaces, she sat down beside a small shop carrying warm beverages. After a minute of browsing through her pouch she managed to find a few copper pieces to trade for a cup. After paying, she sat back down to drink. "Ahhh...Just another day huh.."

Tyrone stood amidst the crowd. People gazed upon him as if he were the moonspirit himself. Dressed in his royal robes, he casually stood there, staring at a melon. One of his many fruits he enjoyed so much.
"I'll take 50, I'll have my personal secretary load them up, and I'll throw in an extra tip for your kind service." He said with a smile. It had been a while since his last visit to the south, and so far things were great. With his assistant loading up the goods, he couldn't help but take a further look around. There was so much to offer in this market, even for the High Chieftain of the north.

Sitting amidst the market sipping her drink, Kyana witnessed a rather wealthy looking water tribesmen. It was really obvious he was of some kind of upper class. She knew he couldn't be from the south because of many times over she's greeted random tribesmen not once witnicing another like him. As if not noticing anyone else, she stood in her chair quietly staring toward the man. Who knew why he had come to the south. Vacation maybe?

Tyrone wandered through the busy market crowd, feeling as sense of normality. Sure, people were staring him up and down, but for once he needn't worry about diplomatic affairs, war tactics, and any other role he served as the High Chieftain. Gazing about, looking for another stall of interest, he met eyes with an anonymous female, gazing at him like most others. With a smile, he continued his browsing, seeing a pair of antique scythes he wanted for his collection. "How much?" He said, pointing to the rather old, blunt weaponry. OOC: I dont know how we can have our characters interact, perhaps you can help out there

OOC: Haha don't worry i got this!!
BIC: Kyana watched as the man approached another area looking toward weapons. She was curious now, wanting to find out about this man. But what if wasn't interested in making acquiantance with a southern peasant. I guess curiouusity killed the cat owl right? Yet unable to stop herself from heading in his direction she sent over a simple smile as she began to speak next to him browsing weapons.
" Wow a scythe huh? Going hunting i'm guessing?" she smiles with a small hint of laughter. "I'm Kyana."

Tyrone turned to find the woman he had noticed earlier, addressing him in a friendly manner. It was nice to have someone approach him, despite his formal clothing, it seemed she wanted to make conversation.
"Hi there, I'm Tyrone. Pleased to meet you Kyana."
Tyrone placed a royal coin into the trader's hand, then gave the scythe to his assistant.
"I'm actually more of a collector, of old artifacts and antiques. It caught my eye and I couldn't help but get it."
Tyrone said with a smile. It felt refreshing to have a casual conversation with someone other than his assistants or diplomats.

The greetings were always the easiest parts of communications. At least in her mind that is. With a pleasant nod and a curious smile she spoke. " Ah it always is hard to let things pass by in the this market. Just the other day I came across this beautifully crafted necklace and literally died when I couldn't have it." She gave of an embarrassed chuckle as she looked away from the man.
Looking passed the market and toward the city she couldn't help but mumble some words. " I sure wish there was more to see in this city. Aside from visits from outside and the penguins and tiger seals, it's just a dull city..."
Then she thought abruptly before continuing. " Unless...."she thought, " Hey, Tyrone, by any chance do you have any bending experience?"

Tyrone let out a slight smirk. He felt she must have Tyrone's bending experience, either that or a very good guess. He tightened his belt, in a rather confident way, as if to say *well of course*.
"I'm very proficient in water bending, its second nature to me" Tyrone said with a smile.
Tyrone let out his hand, in front of Kyana, and produced a small sphere of ice with no visible flaws. Then as suddenly as it appeared, he closed his hands and it shattered.
"How about you, young lady? Are you blessed with the gift of bending?"
Tyrone wiped the cold ice shards off of his hand, and onto his blue royal garment. He wondered, perhaps she had the skill to learn a thing or two from Tyrone's bending style. A highly modified, advanced style of water bending.

Kyana was intrigued when the sphere of ice formed and shattered. As Lord Tyrone began to ask her if she had been gifted with waterbending, she reflected back into her past, remembering her trainings with her master, becoming a master herself at the level of a prodigy. In her eyes held honor and strength as she stared toward the man. " Yes I have. Much like you, waterbending is my passion. It may shock you..or maybe not, to know that I am a master. I still look for much to learn with my bending though."
Holding out her hands before her she reached upward summoning forward a thick string of water, her hands flowing in a graceful manner, the water hovered before her and the Chieftain then with a swing of hands back toward the snow.
"It's great to see a fellow waterbender. Even greater seeing as you're from the Northern Tribe. Is it still tradition in the North for the women to only heal?" She says with curiosity

Tyrone stared at the girl in amazement, her skill was great for her age. And her knowledge of the north somewhat impressed him.
"For the time being, it is up for debate. Traditionalists seem to want it to stay as *women heal, men fight*, but rebels and I myself think each should make their own decisions, form their own abilities. Not forced into a tradition that is old and well... silly."
Tyrone was on the verge of a revolution, he wanted to govern the water tribe of the north with a single ruler, himself. Not with the same tyranny of the fire nation, but the same dictatorship, that would bring order to the north.
He felt it messy to have but one chief of each tribe. Raised the son of the head chieftain, he knew that not even the highest title gave complete ruling. In his mind, it seemed right. TO serve as the protector, the law bringer and the leader of the water tribes. Perhaps one day, this would be a reality, but for now all he could do was imagine.
Tyrone snapped himself out of his prosperous mindset, caught in a daydream of what could be. And addressed Kyana.
"Would you care to demonstrate a little bit of your waterbending, it would be quite the honor. Not here of course, we will move away from the crowds. Perhaps you'd know a suitable area?"

Kyana, enthusiastic and honored herself, couldn't help giving a nod in approval speaking toward the man. "I know the perfect spot. I go there to train on my own. It'll take a little walking outside the city but trust me its worth it." She gave off a "follow me" gesture as she started walking toward the southern-most part of the city and then outward past the ice-built walls.
Minutes upon minutes later with Tyrone close behind, she welcomed him to a beautiful terrain made entirely of ice and water. Where they stood was a large circular flat area of snow, where in the very center stood a pond of water. Alongside the edges stood streams of water coming down from huge glaciers. What was most beautiful was how the sun hit the water in the most beautiful way, revealing it's beauty.
She herself couldn't believe the beauty every time she'd came to practice. " Tyrone, before I begin, and I know it's not very well mannered but..." Kyana stopped as if she is unsure about asking yet continues, "What exactly is your position in the Northern Tribe?"
OOC: I wasn't sure if she knew he was the Chieftain of the North so I thought I'd ask if thats ok with you.

Tyrone gave a slight smile, it had been a while since he hadn't had someone recognize hims, at least even by name. It was a name that was rather well known in most circles, but it didn't seem to be the case in this instance.
"Well, I am the High chieftain. Lord Tyronus Azsgard, or simply Tyrone as my friends and personal acquaintances call me." He took a look around the area she had brought him to. Truly a paradise if Tyrone ever saw one.
"This place is magnificent, it's really a shame I don't venture out like this more often." Tyrone said, caught in a state of awe.

A high chieftain within her presence? She'd felt embarrassed as she hadn't shown him the proper respect for someone of his importance. Without hesitation, she suddenly bows her head as a courtesy. " I'm sorry, so sorry. I should have been more mannered."
With another stare toward the waters around her, she spoke with a calmness in her voice. " In my eyes, this is the most beautiful place, and most abundant in water supply, in the south. Well now, Lord Tyrone, shall we get started?"
With a smile gleaming along her face, she held her hands in front of her cautiously.

Tyrone bowed respectfully, and presented a friendly smile.
"No need for apologies, I am in your home land, therefore we are equals."
It seemed Kyana was ready to begin, so stepping back a bit, Tyrone took an observant position.
"Yes, shall we begin then?" Tyrone stomped into the snow, an earth bending variation, sending a small block of ice upward. Sitting upon the makeshift seat, Tyrone began to observe Kyana's bending.
"Perhaps we can have a light duel afterwards?"

" Someone of your experience in bending would make an interesting opponent. I don't mean to be overly confident but many benders here are easy opponents. Weaknesses aren't easily hidden which makes it easy to spot." She continued on as she spun her hands left to right, summoning three large and flexible strings of water. With a jerk of her hands upward the three strings joined to one larger form levitating higher into the sky. With a sudden pull toward the ground with hands flowing, the water was frozen into a small wall.
" But you... You seem so powerful and wise. It would be an honor to duel with you." She says swinging her hands toward the ice wall as daggered-shaped ice was sent toward it being summoned through the air. With one last twist of her hands, the wall of ice along with it's daggers, were water once again, splashing toward the floor. She sends her hands down at ease turning toward him. " Just one thing." A Censoredy smile forms on her face in a joking manner. " Don't go easy on me."
