The Palace lies in the heart of the Capital City. During the summer months, it is occupied by the whole of the Royal family, as well as their agents and guards. During the winter months, however, it is kept only by housekeepers and servents, as the royal family spends the winter at Ember Island.

The largest school in the whole of the fire nation. Those that attend are those of fame or royalty. This is where the avatar of the fire nation is trained, as well as the children of the royal family, and anyone else who is deemed worthy.

A rather large, vegetated island. Over the years it has remained a popular place to vacation, especially among the Fire Nation's youth. Now, however, because of the breaking down of borders, it isn't uncommon to find other nation citizens here as well. Some rich families have houses on the island.

Holding the title of the second largest city in the Fire Nation, Ju Shong is a largely religious city, most loved for its tourist attractions. In the middle of the city is a statue of Avatar Roku, and the city itself is dwarfed by a large temple. This temple is a beauty in itself, with high reach towers and statues of past Firebending avatars lining its walls. Other avatars are depicted through drawings all along its walls, both inside and out.

The Boiling Rock is still, to this day, a prison. However, it is no longer a High Security prison. Instead, all trouble makers who are sent to jail are kept here. It is easy to get to, now, as they have created special-plated boats that can cross the lava, made out of the same material as the freeze cells. They still have the sky-cart setup as well.

This is a large desert spanning some 1/6th of the Fire Nation land. Its entrance is only a few miles outside of the Capital City, and it stretches on for miles. Small oasis' litter its span.
