Centuries have passed since Avatar Aang took down the Fire Lord, Ozai, and restored peace and balance to the world. With the passing of Aang, the avatar cycle continued, a new avatar being born whenever there was strife in the world. As years went on, this cycle began to change and morph. These changes were brought on by the ancient spirits themselves. While peace was not always there, true trouble began to come less and less, and the avatars who had nothing to solve became corrupt, and on some rare occasions, even tried to take over the world themselves. While the spirits were able to stop these trouble makers, they began to see that the avatars were granted too much power for any one person. And so the spirit of the avatar began to change.
Instead of granting the power of all four elements to one person, one person from each nation would be granted the true bending power of that nation's original benders. For the Air Temples, the avatar would be granted the wisdom and airbending powers of the Air Bison. For the Earth Kingdom, the avatar was granted the passiveness and earthbending powers of the Badger Moles. For the Fire Nation, the avatar was granted the fierceness and firebending poweress of the Dragons. And for the Water Tribes, the avatar was granted the balance and waterbending power of the Moon. And so, instead of one Avatar at a time, there was four, and those four would have to work together to bring about the balance of the world.
For many years, decades, even, these avatars were not needed. Now, however, a great darkness threatens the land, and the Original Avatars have been reborn. And while no one knows what this darkness is, the avatars have been identified, and out of habit, have begun their training. And when that darkness arises, they must come together to defeat it and restore the world's balance.
The darkness mentioned in this plot is, as of the moment, undecided. As the site grows and more members join, the plot will continue to form, and the evil will be seen.
