Nearing dawn, a carriage arrived pulled by a beautiful dragon moose. Occupied by two figures cloaked in dark robe', returning from an intense battle in Ju Shong....
Without even a word, a guard opened up and let the pair enter the great Agni school, knowing very well who owned the carriage. "You should have let me finish him uncle, while he was talking to those girls." Oni said as the carriage passed through the main gateway. The older male next to her, her uncle Kumori, looked rather sour, nothing unusual. While passing the guards, Oni's question remained unanswered. But as they entered the courtyard, which was unguarded, Kumori bluntly replied to Oni's rather childish question.... *Finish him? We would have been the ones finished. That was the fire nation's Avatar talking to our meddling friend Mr.Axl Ro-zu.* Shocked as to who she almost attacked, Oni lowered her head and hopped off of the carriage, following her uncle inside without a word. For even she knew, as powerful a man her uncle was she was quite sure they had no chance against an Avatar.

"Excuse me, excuse me!" A voice called out from the grounds. An old man, clothed by a lab coat and a doctor's mask, marched up the steps of the Agni School. The guards, a bit taken back, put their spears out in front of him, halting his progress. With a growl of impatience, Rajine pushed back a stray strand of silver hair, and glared at the guards. "Excuse me." He repeated.
"Sorry old man," one of the guards said, "but we don't let just anyone into this school. Now, go on away from here." He was speaking as if talking to some lowly beggar. Rajine straightened himself and looked into the man's eyes.
"I am the great Rajine Fera! Scientist extraord-"
"I'm afraid I've never heard of you, old man." Rajine's glare intensified at the interruption of his well planned introduction. He strode closer to the guard and poked him in the chest with one long finger.
"I'm not surprised one as uneducated as yourself doesnt know of me. Why, if you had a bit of sense, you would be in that school, rather than guarding it! I am here for a very important meeting with your headmaster, as well as a small lecture to a class. If you don't let me through, I'm afraid I'll have to report you." He insisted.
The guard sighed lightly, took one last look at the crazy old man, and took his spear away, beckoning for his companion to do the same. "Fine, old man. But if you get into any trouble, it'll be your head they have, not mine." He said.
"Yeah, yeah. Trouble, as if." Rajine muttered under his breath. He marched through the doors, still growling over the trouble he was having. Not paying attention to where he was going, he suddenly collided with a very solid mass of body, and was knocked to his bottom.
OOC: Rather that was you he ran into or if it was someone else and you just saw it, thats up to you. =3

Oni followed her uncle up toward the main building. Oni scoped the rooftop for any danger, but found none. She began to wonder what might have happened if she attacked the avatar, the other day. Having The Order's co-leader involved in an attempted assassination on the avatar would have been devastating to their plans. This outcome was far better.
A large shove sent Oni stumbling into her uncle, who was still ahead of her. "Get down uncle" Oni advised. Spinning around drawing bow and arrow, she took aim at the first person she saw, a seemingly harmless looking scientist. "State your business, who are you?" Oni ordered.
Before the man could even open his mouth to answer, Oni felt her uncle's hand push down her bow and arrow. She guessed he had been expecting the clumsy man's arrival, and stepped back.
*This man may be able to make you the most lethal assassin alive, my dear niece*

When he was suddenly face to face with a loaded bow, Rajine's eyes widened and he let out a screech. "Don't hurt me!" He cried out, covering his head with his arms. Why was it everytime he met someone, he was put in a threatning position? First with the boy, who made him fly into the air, and now this. When he dared to look out, he saw that the older man had pushed the girl's bow away, and had obviously said something.
Rajine cleared his throat and stood straight up, trying to regain some of his dignity. "Ahem. My name is Rajine Fera, and I apologize for running into you, miss. I was a bit flustered by the guards outside. They were quite reluctant to let me in, you see. Anyways, I forget my manners. You must be Kumori and Oni, yes?" He asked, mostly directing the question to the older man.

Not sure as to why her uncle had arrange the meeting, or how this scientist could enhance her assassin skill, Oni merely followed her uncle inside. Kumori signaled the scientist to follow and whispered to Oni.
*You know the drill, arrange the money to be counted and sent by the accountant.* Oni nodded and sent a dragon hawk flying to another part of the school, with a letter attached to its leg.
*The Order will benefit greatly from your assistance Rajine* Kumori said, chuckling rather loudly.

Rajine followed the two inside, staying behind so as to examine the young girl. She was lithe, almost small, even. Although he had been assured many times that Oni was quite the assassin, he couldn't help but feel uncomfortable. She certaintly didn't look like someone who could hold a lot of power in her body. What if it was to destroy her? Rajine would be purely responsible, and he would likely suffer for it. But what else could he do? He'd already made an agreement. He had already blown his moral standards to bits, why stop now?
"I feel I must remind you, sir," Rajine spoke up, "That we have yet to gather the power, and there is no guarantee. Of course, you have my promise to do my best, as discussed, but if it fails, I hope you understand that it was through no fault of mine. I have not personally worked on the...project. Beyond that, also remember the risk factor. We have no way of knowing exactly what it will cause, although we hope that it will create the most powerful firebenders on the world. However, death may occur. I only ask that you keep this in mind." He said, sighing lightly. He didn't like this at all.

Kumori, who was a few paces ahead of Oni and the scientist Rajine, turned and faced the two. His expression was almost blank, as if he hadn't a care about the risk factors involved. *I know very well of the risks involved, and i know you aren't quite ready my friend. I've called you here to discuss my contribution. If you are to turn my Niece into a fire bender, I should at least help fund the project.*
Oni gasped, the thought of becoming a fire bender was both exciting and rather overwhelming. She had never really wondered what bending would have been like, she was quite happy with her bow and arrows, frankly. But Oni was open to new experiences, and she trusted her uncle enough to be sure her well being had been considered.
"Rajine, sir, if you dint mind me asking, how would you go about turning me into a fire bender.... I mean, isn't that near impossible?" Oni asked as she opened a steel door, inviting the scientist inside.

Rajine nodded lightly to Kumori. "Yes, and my fellows will be very happy with your contribution, sir." He said, the words stiffer than he had meant them to be. They were almost a reaction, something he knew he was supposed to say when someone offered help to the project. It was expected.
The girl's question, however, animated him much more, and he turned to appraise her. He glanced over her, frowning lightly. He wasn't really suppose to share the details, but if this girl was going to be one of the experiments, then didn't she have the right to know?
He glanced around to make sure no one else was nearby, and he lowered his voice to nearly a whisper. "Why, by using the power of Sozin's Comet, my dear." He informed her.

Oni's eyes widened, the power of Sozins comet, it was genius. To harness such a power was a feat beyond comparison. They were now inside Kumori's quarters, a room that looked very old, steel walls with the insignia of the old fire nation, and above the fire place was a portrait of Fire Lord Ozai. The sound of flapping could be heard, drawing closer and closer. Not just one bird, but by the sound of it, at least 5. Oni got up, and walked back over to the door, as she turned the handle, the sound of bags full of coins could be heard dropping. *It looks like our accountant has arranged the transaction earlier than I had anticipated.* Kumori said.
The door opened, and a cold gust swept through the room. On the steps, lay several sacks of Fire nation currency, easily enough to fund a small village for a year. As Oni gathered the sacks of gold currency, she peered across the rooftops, then over to the guardsmen, who were loafing around the front gate. The area seemed secure, despite the guards-men's careless behavior.

"Impressive indeed, my good sir." Rajine couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the collection of birds, and, more importantly, money. "Again, we will thank you for your payment. Now, my dear. I want to make sure that you, too, are prepared. Of course, it will not be for some short time, but when the time comes you must be absolutly sure you are ready. So, what say you, Oni?" He asked, looking only at the girl, in order to convey to Kumori that he was not asking him.
OOC: Sorry for the short reply. ><

Such weight was held on this decision, with this power, the order and Oni herself would become such a formidable force. Oni was already considered dangerous, if she were a bender there'd be no telling what she could accomplish, or who she could kill for that matter. But on the other hand, her life was at risk.
Kumori opened his mouth, about to interrupt, trying to silence any doubt from Oni. Raising her finger up over her head, against her uncles mouth, she in turn silenced him. "Please uncle, for once I wish to speak for myself, please. Oni stated, almost ordering. Kumori stepped back, not too impressed and let the two talk it out, all the while glaring angrily.
"I'm aware of the danger's, but I've survived the worst this world has to offer, I say bring it on. Whenever you and your colleagues are ready, I will be too."

Rajine gave the girl an appreciative smile when she made her uncle back down. From the look on the man's face, Rajine could see that he was not used to being talked to in that manner, and especially not from his neice. Rajine met the man's eyes with a twinkle in his own. That was quite some girl, that Oni.
His smile fell slightly when she gave him her answer, but he quickly replaced it. "I am very pleased with your decision." He said, trying to sound like he truly meant it. And of course he did. He was expected to. He was to recruit people for their experiment. It was his job, he would have no other.

*When the time comes, I hope to hear from you sir.* Kumori said. Dismissing Oni, and rudely ending the conversation.
Oni stood to her feet, and addressed Rajine with a respectful bow. "I am looking forward to our next meeting. And I hope my uncle's payments are sufficient" She said. Kumori flicked his fingers, igniting a small torch outside, which revealed a tied up animal, mounted and ready to go. *If you wish, you may take the guardsman's mount, your journey home may be long.*
