Name: Kota
Age: 16
Nation of Origin: Southern Water Tribe
Gender: Male
Bender? If so, what kind?: Waterbender
Group: Military, lowest-rank warrior
Apperance: 5'7", thin body, tan skin tone, blue eyes, shoulder-length white hair in a ponytail. Wears the typical garb of the Southern Water Tribe.
Personality: Full of himself, and usually very happy. He manages to be respectful to elders and certain authority figures, despite his arrogance. Very easy-going. The only things that seem to anger him are comments about his unusual white hair and talk of the Water Tribe Avatar.
History: His father is one of the Southern Water Tribe's greatest warriors, while his mother is a talented Waterbender. Kota knew he would follow in their footsteps. Kota himsef always had a talent for waterbending, so much so that, between his skills and his hair being white like the full moon, he and his friends believed that he was the Avatar of the Water Tribe...only for Kota to find out around his sixteen birthday that he had failed the test meant to discover the new Avatar, one he didn't even know he had taken. This has lead to the only grudge that Kota has held in his young life.
RP SAMPLE: There Kota stood, before the priests and the Cheiftan of the Southern Water Tribe, his mouth agape. "I'm...I'm not the Avatar?" he said, and even after he was answered, repeated several times.
As one of the priests elaborated on how Kota had failed the test, the ivory-haired boy interrupted, pointing his finger accusingly at them all, "That's not fair! I didn't know it was a test. How can you say I'm not the Avatar because I chose the wrong stupid to--" Kota bit his tongue, at the advice of the Cheiftan, lowering his hand and bowing his head, "Forgive me."
Kota didn't wait to see if they accepted his apology, abruptly turning and leaving their presence.
