Young water benders rushed into the near full classroom. A classroom made of both brick and ice. There was a sudden halt at the doorway, as the children realized there were no seats in the class at all, or any desks for that matter. Quite puzzled, most of the children simply stopped and stared at the Instructor, Lord Tyrone, high Chief of the Northern Water tribe. "Sir, where are we supposed to sit", a brave child asked, addressing Tyrone himself. "Come here young one, what's your name." Tyrone asked. As the young water bender approached, Tyrone knelt on one knee, to get a perspective of what the little boy saw. "Hmm you're quite right young one, there aren't any seats to be seen. Tell me young man, what is this room mainly made of?" Tyrone asked the young boy. The chief stepped back and waited to see what the boy would make of this riddle. Putting his finger to his mouth, the boy thought for a second. "ICE sire!" He yelled, looking back at the chief with a proud smile on his face. "Why you're quite right young one, how about all of you try make a chair for yourself, here ill make the desks." Tyrone stepped into formation, and stomped the ground with thundering might. Out of the ice, formed 6 rows of ice, each row consisting of 5 simple stumps of ice slightly curved at the top.
"Now, you're first task, is to fashion a comfortable ice chair to sit on, don't rush now, we have all day." The children's amazed faces turned into sour frowns, at the thought of learning to ice bend in one day. "Remember, feel the ice as if it were water, but command it as if it were stone," Tyrone advised.

~Yoji~
The nonbender couldn't help but feel uneasy as he walked into the school. Most of the students that wandered the school were waterbenders, that much he could see. The excitement in their eyes gave it away. It sickened him. How was it that these untrained little heathens had abilities he could never hope to have? He sneered at one little boy as he ran past. To Yoji's satisfaction, the child blanched, and scooted away, casting nervous glances at the black haired man.
He didn't want to be here, but for his own selfish desires, he had forced himself to come here anyway. He had heard tell that a very important person was here, the chieftan of the northern water tribe. Although that was not the tribe of his birth, and he was a couple of years younger than the cheiftan, Yoji sought an alliance. He would not go so far as to say that he was here to make a friend. Yoji didn't have friends, he had allies. Powerful ones, at that. Or at least he wanted powerful ones.
He had no idea what the point of his endeavors was. He was not out to control the world, or even a portion of it. But he had the oddest feeling that something would come to him, in his life, and powerful friends would be useful. It was true that he was not a well-liked man to those that met him. But he could put on a rather charming exterior when the time called for it.
Coming to a classroom, he stopped to listen. Sure enough, the voice echoing from it sounded quite powerful, quite commanding. Albeit kinder than Yoji would have liked. Still, putting on his most charming face, he slowly opened the door. He slipped into the classroom, and stood against the wall, waiting to be noticed.

Tyrone stepped back and watched the children attempting to form chairs out of the ice, for some it was their first attempt at ice bending. "Very good children keep it up." Tyrone said encouragingly, as he noticed someone slip into the room. Intrigued as to why he hadn't introduced himself, Tyrone approached the young man.
"Attention students it seems we have a guest, a student perhaps. Introduce yourself lad." Tyrone said in a friendly tone. Stepping forward one more step, and expressing a welcoming smile, Tyrone awaited a reply.

Yoji flashed Lord Tyrone a small smile and bent somewhat at the waist, offering a slight bow. "My name is Yoji, sire. I do wish I could be a student at this prodigous school, but I do not have the talent of the students here. I am not a waterbender. You are quite lucky, children." He added, speaking to the class with forced kindness.
Having spoken to the classroom, Yoji turned back towards Lord Tyrone, now completly ignoring the children. "It is an honor to meet you, sire. I've heard much about you, the great chief of the northern tribe. A great man, so I've heard. If you will excuse my ignorance, I would ask your name. I am from the Southern tribe, myself. And so, as I've said, I have heard of you, I am afraid I was never told your name, or if I was, I cannot recall."

Quite pleased by the young man's respectful introduction, Tyrone bowed, and in turn introduced himself. "Tyronus Azsgard, but please call me Tyrone." Tyrone stomped his foot slightly, raising a crude block of ice next to one of the desks he had fashioned. "You may not be a bender, but you're considered an equal nonetheless. Here, make yourself a chair, however you like," Tyrone said as he threw the young non bender Yoji a shard of fortified ice.
"You'll find the shard as strong as a steel blade, well as long as its near me that is. My chi ensures anything I bend maintains its power as long as it's in my direct view. Remember, bender or not, you still have the potential to be a great warrior." Tyrone smiled, then directed his attention toward another student, who seemed to be having a little trouble.
"If you need me Yoji, just call out and I'll be with you as soon as i can."

OOC: Sorry for the wait. : )
IC:
Yoji felt somewhat irked by the mans attitude, and yet, at the same time, he felt a small flush of pride as well. When was the last time any bender had ever called him an equal, or said those words to him? Of course HE knew it was true. He held nothing but contempt for most benders. Still, it was nice to hear the words. However, Tyrone's 'I'm the teacher and chieftan, so your nothing better than a student' attitude was wearing on Yoji. Yes, he was nearly ten or more years younger than the other man, but he was not a boy! But he would hold his tounge, for now. He needed this faux friendship, alliance if you will.
"Yes sir." He said smoothly. He turned away from the chieftan, and made his way to a icy patch far away from the rest of the students. He may be working as a student at the time, but he refused to be put in with this lot. He glanced down at the sickle in his hand, and the ice near him. So he needed to make a chair with ice and this shard. It didn't sound very comfortable, but he would do so. He began to carve into the chair, and as was his way, as he got more into the project, he lost touch with the things going on around him. As a scholar, which is what he professed himself to be, he was always wondering how to do things, how they are made, questions. He loved questions. This was just a question in the doing form.
His tounge stuck out of his mouth slightly as he worked, a sort of sign-language telling how he wished to be alone. He was not aware of the time slipping past. Before he knew what was happening, the chair was finished. It was not that smooth nor perfect or symmetrical, but he was proud of it, nonetheless. He stood, his back slightly sore, and with eyes that were still slightly cloudy from concentration, he turned back to the class and the chieftan, to see how they were faring.

The results varied, but on the whole Tyrone felt quite pleased at the student's efforts. "We shall conclude today's lesson, I'll see you all in a day or so." Tyrone signaled the children to do as they please, then whispered to a woman by his side. As the short conversation came to an end, Tyrone signaled Yoji to come over. "Would I be able to trust you with an important task, it will take no longer than 10minutes to complete." Tyrone said, waiting anxiously for the young man's reply.

((This is still Yoji. Hes actually one of my characters, but I'm using a different computer and I dont have the patience to log into the other account or set up my alias thing. xD))
Yoji watched the children pile out of the room, and snapped to attention when he realized the chieftan was speaking to him. Now here was something he could do! A task, simple by the sound of it. As spiteful and often arrogent as Yoji was, he enjoyed tasks. Not because he liked doing work for others, mind you, but because it often helped to focus his mind. And he enjoyed being focused.
"Of course, sire. How can I be of service?" He asked, putting on his best servile attitude.

Tyrone was greatly impressed by the nonbenders attitude, even in a situation most benders would struggle, Yoji achieved with an exceptional standard.
He walked over to a desk at the front of the classroom, a beautifully sculpted piece of furniture perfectly bended. He motioned his arm, opening a draw made of ice. In it were several notes and papers. Flicking through the pages, Tyrone pulled out an important looking document, lined with gold at the edges. Tyrone scribbled a few quick words then signed his name and passed ti to Yoji.
"There are three separate documents here, this one is for the battle strategist in the south wing." Tyrone handed Yoji a map, marking several locations throughout the four nations. Then, handed two documents, intended for Yoji himself, as a reward.
"This is an important letter of recommendation, if you take this to the scriber, he will induct you as an acquaintance to the head chieftain. With this you can go about your business throughout any part of the school, apart from my dormitory of course. Also, you may attend any class you wish. take it my friend, you've earned it."
Tyrone handed the letter, accompanied by a separate piece of parchment, noting acknowledgment by the Chieftain himself, and noting the promise of guidance and/or support where needed.

OOC: Sorry. ._.
IC:
For once in his life, Yoji was truly astounded. How...kind this man was, to give so much to him after only just meeting him. For a moment, Yoji couldn't help but hang his head in shame. He was toying with this man, using him for his own purposes, and he was being rewarded for it. Sure, that had been the plan all along, but, still, he felt something akin to guilt at the idea, now. Clearing his throat suddenly, he looked up, his eyes softer than they had ever been.
He would not back down from his private job now. But he would truly try for the chieftan. To do as he pleased. Real favor was always better than the false kind anyways.
"Thank you sire." He said, really meaning it. "I will take this to your stratagist, as you say. Would you like me to return here, once my job is finished, or...?" He asked, waiting for the man's reply.

OOC:It's Ok IC: Tyrone waved his hand once more, closing the ice-drawers. "Hmm, that all depends on you Yoji. How well do you handle yourself with a sword?" Tyrone paused for a second, then began to fasten his shoulder pads to his chestplate. As Tyrone assembled his battle-gear, he continued.... "I'm looking for a young man to train some of my guards' children in armed combat. They are around your age, and would most definitely find it easier learning from someone their age." Tyrone said, snapping the notches which connected his chest-plate to his shoulder pads together. "It can be on a trial basis, nothing set in stone until you make up your mind. If not, I understand."

Yoji shook his head lightly. "I'm not a sword-fighter, sir. I use a throwing weapon." Yoji reached down on his belt and grasped a chain that rested around his belt. He always kept the weapon concealed beneath his robes, but he didn't see a problem with revealing it at the moment. He pulled at the chain, revealing a fair-sized crescent-shaped blade hooked on the end. "This is my weapon. Its a crescent blade. There might be a true name for it, but I don't know it. I might still be valuable, however. I know how to fight, and I've studied other fighting styles through text. So if you could still find my useful for what you had in mind, i would be honored."

Almost let down by the fact that Yoji was not a sword fighter, Tyrone realized another use Yoji may have toward his cause. Raising his finger to his chin, he made another proposal.
"Yoji, if I were to offer you a job as head trainer to my guards, would you be willing to share your knowledge of this crescent bladed weapon you speak of. These particular trainee's are struggling in sword combat especially, and I thought maybe they needed further training but..... Maybe its best they steer away from swords completely."
Tyrone turned toward Yoji and smiled with glimmer of prospect in his eye. "It would also provide them with a unique advantage in battle."
